Individual Opportunities

We’re always seeking individuals to help us make a difference! Whether you want to help with construction, home repair, the ReStore, or something else, we have many opportunities that may be of interest.

All of the profits of the ReStore go towards Habitat’s mission of eliminating poverty housing. That means the ReStore is essential to continuing our work. When you volunteer, we can help more families achieve the dream of homeownership.

At the ReStore, we need your help unloading, processing, and assembling donations, as well as organizing furniture and rugs in our showroom and providing excellent customer service.

Learn more about volunteering at the ReStore.

Construction volunteers are the foundation of Habitat of for Humanity of South Central New Jersey.  Without your support, lots remain empty and families remain in unsuitable living conditions.

  • The minimum age to volunteer on our construction site is 16 years old. Anyone under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a guardian and may not use power tools.
Our “Regulars”
  • Our regulars are volunteers that come out on a regular basis (typically about four times a month) and are committed to transforming lives through decent and affordable home ownership. If you’ve been out to the site multiple times and are interested in becoming a regular, please contact the Volunteer Manager for more information.
