Habitat BMC and Palmyra Borough Among HCDNNJ’s Outstanding Municipal Partner Awardees!
The Housing and Community Development Network of New Jersey’s Annual Conference, Under One Roof, gathers intersectional organizations, partners, and advocates as well as local, state, and federal officials to connect over community needs, local success, and policies related to fair housing. As a part of this year’s conference, Habitat for Humanity of Burlington and Mercer Counties and the Borough of Palmyra have been recognized as an Outstanding Municipal Partner!
Together, we’ve promoted community stability through homeownership opportunities, and instilled a sense of pride in the town and its residents through neighborhood revitalization. We are so thankful for this partnership with Palmyra and it is incredibly exciting to celebrate the work we’ve put in – especially over these last two years – to build two new affordable homes and complete 14 home repair projects. Most importantly, we are proud of our collaboration to address unique needs that local residents identified!
